hail stones trapped me in the boys shed

after doiing the girls shed this morning went in boys and all of a sudden thought the sky was falling the nosie was deafening the pigs went mad as hugh hail stones fell, it frightened me as well but i stayed and chatted away to the pigs if they could hear me over the noise, I had to wait for it to stop, then checked girls who were all squashed in to their igloos bless them,never thought of it before , poor babes, :o

awww poor things,

i got caught in freak shower of giant hailstones one summer. had a shortish skirt on, bare legs and t-shirt so as i was running for shelter they were hitting the back of my legs, neck, arms etc. it really stung and had big red marks all over me it happened years ago but i will never forget it.

Kendy my friend in Iowa US has had her car damaged by them badly every panel and windscreen had to be replaced as it was a new car,

They can be bloody noisy! Poor piggies. No wonder they were worried. At least mummy was there to make sure they were all ok.

gotta love the british weather ! :o i was caught in hailstones once while walking our shar pei , who HATES getting his feet wet, he would wear wellies if he had his way! the look he gave me , we were miles from home, no shelter :tickedoff: he was not impressed !
at least you were dry ! ;D
