How do I stop my baby piggies eating my long haired lady's hair she now has a short patch.

You have piggie hairdressers.... Unfortunately barbering is nigh on impossible to stop - sorry. There have been some prolific piggie barbers on this forum over the years.... Hopefully they will grow out out it

I had this same problem with my pigs. Luckily, the hair chewer grew out of it.

You could try lightly rubbing tea tree Cream in your hands, and run your fingers through the hair of the long-haired sow , it sometimes works! Though only putting up on your hands to transfer the smell

If I were you I would cut my long-haired pigs hair ! Hair is not digestible and if they eat enough of it it could cause gastrointestinal stasis, (tummy blockage ) and very few pigs recover from this

Our Cotton used to nibble on my hair when it was longer. I had to tie it up when taking her out.

I just put my hair back behind my head, or tie it up

Nothing you can do sadly some grow out of it slightly, one of mine used to be really bad when he was younger but calmed down once he hit 1 year but sadly some do it for life

Can't stop piggies barbering! I've some of them here, too. Terfel is supposed to have a long fringe at the back end, but I haven't seen much of it in last 2 years! My peru Tesni also has a very funky piggy hairdo...
