Hair clump

I found a small clump of hair in my guinea pigs hide, any ideas on what it could be?
And could it be barbering?

How many guinea pigs do you have and are they male or female?

It could be barbering or a sign of fungal if your guinea pig has flaky skin / is itchy or your guinea pig could simply be malting x

Being chewed off would be my guess given there doesn’t appear to be any root attached (if root was there then it could have fallen out or been pulled out)

I’ve got two females who are about a year old and they’ve recently been to the vet and been given the all clear in regard to health!
I also haven’t noticed any dry skin x

In that case, I would think it would be barbering by either girl which is perfectly normal x
