Athena has recently been having a buildup of crustiness near her left eye. The Crustiness is similar to human sleep and seems to go away with water and some gentle rubbing.
What is really worrying me though is the hair loss that is going along with this.

Here are a couple pictures:

Any ideas as to what it might be or anything I can do or treat it with to help? I will be taking her to the vet but likely won't be able to get there until Monday.

Could be fungal, i have had a couple piggy's like it recently tho worse than your's,you have to get the infected hair out and put a cream i used daktarin twice a day for a week tho it made Heather worse so i stopped it and it's almost healed now. you can use canesten too i think.

It could be fungal but it doesnt look to bad to be honest. Crust can come with dehydration too, keep an eye on it, it really doesnt look anything to worry aobut.
