Hair Loss And Dry/flaky Patch Of Skin On Naval Area

Basically, what it says in the title. I just noticed a dry and flaky patch of skin on little 5 1/2 week old Primrose this evening, in her naval area. It's about the size of a 5p coin and doesn't seem sore or itchy.

Obviously, I'll be taking her to the vet asap but in the meantime I'm just wondering what you all make of it? The bellybutton seems a bit of a weird place for this sort of thing to turn up.

I've attached a photo. The quality is not very good at all, but it's the best I could manage.

Please have it seen. If you are lucky, it is just mechanical abrasion, but only a proper look by a vet can give you a diagnosis.

It will be, just obviously not tonight. I was just curious as to people's thoughts in the meantime.
