This has got me stumped. Today my wife asked me if I'd given Poppy, our longhaired guinea pig, a haircut.
I rushed outside, and sure enough, her neck and back hair looks like someone has trimmed it, but her sides and belly are fine. Her pal, Daisy, is completely normal.

My daughters fed and watered them while I've been working all week.
It's too dark to see properly, but I can't see any hair in their hutch. Her skin is fine and I can't see any lice in her hair. No sign of scratching either. It genuinely looks like a neat haircut.

Do Guinea Pigs moult? And if so, would she moult at this time of year?

She may be being barbered by her cagemate which is normal. If she has just started barbering herself its best to have her vet checked as this can indicate pain in barbered areas x
