Hair Loss

I have two piggies both 2 years old.

Our white piggie is loosing her hair and when I cleaned out her litter tray this morning I notice a coinsiderable amount of hair in the tray.

Any advice?
 
Is it evenly all over the body or are specific bald areas appearing? Some piggies can shed hair seasonally or when they are very stressed. If you notice any bald places other than behind the ears and on the feet, I would see a vet.

Thx, Hubby has just taken her off to the vets. She also has several cyst type lumps that have formed over the past week so I am very worried about her :... Her piggie friend keeps squeaking for her too, I hope it is not bad news. Guinea Pigs are social animals and I do not want to be left with one as it isn't fair on her, any advice if the worst happens?

My guineas were sheeding their hair the other week, also had dandruff too. I treated them for mites and this has made a difference to mine. On their final dose now, three in total. Hope this helps.
