Today while having lap time with Queenie (more like neck-time) I looked down and she bit off a peice of my hair, then proceeded to EAT It!

Either she was over the cuddling, or she wasn’t very impressed with my split ends.

:lol!:

Has anyone else expierenced this? Should I be concerned? :hmm:

all I could think of the time was “WTF?” . None of my piggies have ever done It before! I’ll just assume It was a sign of endearment if she was grooming me. Lol

I only ever had one other pig who did it just the once and I was so happy as he was very ill and had just been syringe fed and when he did it I thought he must be feeling a bit better x

The exact same thing happened to me! I was just leaning on the big chair my guinea pig was eating on, and I just feel something pulling at my hair... and there she is eating a bit of my hair. I haven't really researched it, but I prefer for her not to eat my hair so I just make sure she doesn't.XD

My fiancé walked into the bedroom one day and started freaking out claiming that there was a snake on the floor! He making a production of it asking me to hurry and get the broom so he could kill it. When I got close enough to see the “snake” I realized it was actually a long lock of my really wavy hair :woot: I laughed until I cried it was so funny!

Squibbles was looking a bit too innocent if you know what I mean. I remember thinking “so that’s what I heard when she was so lovingly snuggling in the nape of my neck!” My hair stays bound during lap time now...

My late Pedro used to love hair, especially biting long strands of mine. He was so fast with his scissor teeth he would bite a long piece/ chunk off before I’d notice. I never let him eat it though & always tied it back after that. My hairdresser had to sort out the much shorter piece & disguise it as a layer. Good old Pedro :luv: xx

Our Joe was a hair muncher bless him, and Winter. Toffee took a chunk out of my fringe yesterday and hung on like it was a million pound note :D She was NOT letting go of my hair!

These stories are killing me! Luckily my piggy didn’t get an entire strand - just an end of a peice! Silly little things
