113436This is Thor. Thor is a long haired male guinea pig. He also likes kale.
Back to the main question, his hair has grown Since this photo was taken. He absolutely hates the brush and runs when I have it. His hair is sticking out in every direction and his poop is getting stuck in it. I’ve tried giving him kale, his favourite toy, strokes and carrots but he still wont have it. He’s a rescue piggie so wasn’t tame and has only let me pick him up about a month ago. My other rescue Loki lets me cut his hair and loves being stroked so he isn’t a problem. Any tips to let me cut his hair? All replies appreciated! I’ll leave a picture of what he looked like when I got him cause it’s cute :love:113437

Hi! One of my long haired female guinea pigs hated the brush and would always jump when I tried to cut her hair so what I found helpful to do was to use a small animal, metal comb so when she jumped when I was cutting her hair I would not accidentally cut her. I also use a pair of blunt scissors made for cutting animals hair because she can move a lot when I trim her hair and I don't want to cut her. I hope this advice might help you trim Thor's hair more easily. :)
