I bought a guinea pig from pet store. 2 weeks later, I discovered it has ringworm behind the ear. We are treating it and it is getting better. I checked for other hairless spots and found two. Each front paw has a hairless spot located on the inside. They are not red. I am a new pig owner. Are these little hairless spots on inside of front paws natural or do I need to treat these too?

Are you able to upload a photo for us to see where you are referring to?

Hard to tell on the photo I am afraid. Piggy feet have bald spots there normally as long as no scaling or scabbing then it should be fine

Thank you! No scaling or scabbing just soft skin. I appreciate your response.

Most of my piggies have the same bald spot on inside of front legs. I think it’s where they use the paw for grooming, but if there’s any scans or sores then please get the vet to check them over

Pigs often do have bald spots on their inner front paws from grooming, as well as a small bald spot behind each ear. To me that looks quite normally, especially if the skin itself looks healthy.
