Been to the vet with Hamish today as his eating is getting worse. She reckons he needs his molars trimming.

Last visit they reckoned he wouldn't need that done for a few months so a bit gutted he needs it so soon. i had hoped to avoid it for a while but it's what he needs...

I'm just worried about it. He's just a lickle pig and leaving him there all day for a anaesthetic is scary.

Angus is going with him for company and to be his guide-pig. I just hope they are ok.

Awww hope he is going to be okay. They are such a worry !

Is your vet experienced in piggies ? Mine have had their dentals done without the use of GA by a good piggy savy vet - might be worth investigating ?

Hope it all goes well,

xx

Awww, poor Hamish. Hoping he will be ok. One of our piggie's had dental under GA 3 times - and recovered fine each time, it is worrying I know, I'm sure he'll be ok. *hugs*

aww bless its such a worry isn't it? I hate leaving them :{
Fingers crossed all goes ok, keep us updated x

awwww no sorry to hear about Hamish's toofies :(
Great idea to send Angus with him, it's good for them when they come out from the anaes to have something familiar :)
If i had to leave my boy at the vets for the day, i'd also send along his stuffed toy and his own foods too.

GOOD LUCK HAMISH XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Vet phoned earlier to say hamish is ok and everything went well...

Huge sigh of relief now!

Just need to go and pick my sheep boy up after work. Woo hoo!

So pleased it has gone well! Give him extra cuddles for me x
