Ophelia has her own thread and Hamlet doesn’t? How rude!

Sorry I didn't know you were after a home for Hamlet.Ophelia has been increasingly curled up and we think she’s nearing the end… we’re worried about Hamlet after she dies because we can’t keep him. He is very sweet and has been by her side since they started living together. He will be devastated. Is there someone who would like to offer a very gentle neutered two year old a loving home?
Yes, we're worried about him when she dies. He has been devoted to Ophelia and is very settled with us (after a bad start in life). It was quite striking that when we left them with friends for a week, he didn't show his face. I had told them how lovely it is when he popcorns in the evening at clean-out time, but he would only come out when they weren't there. When we went to pick them up, Hamlet eventually emerged from under a huge pile of hay and popcorned when he heard my voice. That was lovely but it shows that it's going to be hard for him to move on.Sorry I didn't know you were after a home for Hamlet.![]()
