hammocky hammocks help!

I am looking at buying my piggy some things from here but stuck so help!

Beds - there are the corner ones and the oval ones which are bigger, which ones would you suggest are best?

Slumber tunnel or a corner hammock? which is best?

I dont think i can get all three, but suggestions would be of a great help! thanks!
 
Not sure about the bed. I think I remember Sarah (who run the site) telling me that the oval bed are a better size (bigger) for GPs.
I have both the tunnel and the hammock and would recommend the tunnels every time. My piggies absolutely love them. They use the hammocks too but tend to just sit underneath and use them like a tent!
 
thanks Laurne - did you just get the normal tunnel and not the luxury snooze one - the normal is bout 8.50ish - the "moo tunnel" i am looking at?

Anyone got any ideas on the bed? i thought of getting the corner one maybe, but now saying the oval is better size? my GP is quite small little thing! if you go to photo gallery, you can see a post from me there and piccies of him.:)
 
Sorry I should have said. the tunnels I have are the shorter ones (can't remember what they are called) and they are the normal ones (without the luxury inner). I have a moo one too! It's great I love it!
What sort of cage do you have? the only think I found is that my piggies won't use the tunnels if they re off the ground. so you need to make sure you will be able to hook them onto something which is low enough. I have a C&C and so I hook mine onto its side instead if that makes sense...
 
i have a nero 4 cage, would that be suitable? I really want a C and C cage! they are so cool! but jsut recently had this one so cant really afford to change it!

aw matching! i think the moo ones are nice too!

i really want to order but not sure on bed! i might just get the hammock and tunnel first as its free delivery anyway and order the bed later when i get some more feedback.

anyones help is greatly appreciated!
 
I guess it depends on how deep the base of your cage is. sorry I have never had a 'normal cage'. I am sure it should be OK thought. If you are unsure send them an email. Sarah who run it is very helpful.

I'm not sure about the bed, but if the oval ones are bigger then I'd go for that. I'm always worried that things wont be big enough for my pigs.

If you're unsure, you could email the site owner and ask - she's really friendly.
 
I have the stubbie tunnels, the long tunnels and the oval bed, as I have 2 piggies and they need the space. They aren't that huge, but are perfect. I have the luxury and normal tunnels, both are their favourite things ever, and dont get nibbled :-)
 
i would not relly recomend the hammocks my pig's just go underneath even when they are at floor level. but the tunnels are good!
 
thanks for all your help everyone! i ordered the hammock and snuggle tunnel yesterday so now just toying with the bed! i might wait until i get these. I cant wait!

no way

none of the things you have mentioned are available here in south oz pow-powpow-powpow-pow but have bought similar of ebayUK but after months my piggies wouldn't have a bar of any of it. not the tunnels, not the hammocks, nor the beds nothing. my piggies don't want to play they just eat, sleep and bury under the hay. maybe my piggies are strange?/?/?/ might put this in behaviour too.

i placed an order with hammocky hammock on 16 July but still not received it - is this generally the time it takes to get this?

I have contacted them but i have not had a response?

Hm, maybe you could contact them again?

I think that the orders are handmade so that could be why? However you could try emailing them again just incase something has gone wrong somewhere. They're a very good and friendly site though :)
 
i was emailng a girl there and she was so helpful. I wil give it a couple more days i think!

they are brilliant, i won a bed on their last week, so waiting to get that too, so excited!
