Hamster destruction

Today I bought my hammy Max a new toy. This was all very well until I gave him it. It was destroyed in about 5 min. This was a toy designed for and I quote "all small animals". Apparently not my Max.

After taking the parts from his cage I found the nut in his hoard. So it seems after all he just wanted the not so tasty tasty treat:redrolleyes

And he does like to chew

|) I bought this toy for my gerbil girls and they did the same - 5 minutes it was destroyed but they then had great fun kick boxing the nut around the cage! Bit expensive just for a nut though rolleyes

Ah bless him, clever hamster. Don't think it would have lasted long with my Daisy either.
