My other half went into a local petshop three weeks ago, and overheard a lady mentioning to the shop owner if she could put up a sign as she was giving away an baby pig from an accidental litter- needless to say, we made sure she's separated the parents, infact Handel's dad is now living with a close friend of ours. He went over to have a chat with her, and well the rest is history- Handel is now ours. He'd been after a abyssinian guinea, and fell head over heels for the little lad. rolleyes

I'd been really worried about him, as he'd been on a bed of straw (with no more than a handful of hay), but after a visit to the vets, he's had the all clear. He's been eating like a trooper, and adores his new cozies from Pollie.

He's being introduced to our pair tomorrow, so fingers crossed that will all go well, and they'll be a happy three-some.

Well, they've been together as a three now for about an hour- and all is going well so far. Handel kept trying to mount poor Picasso, but Picasso laid down the law- humped Handel, and they've not had any other dominance arguments since.

There was quite a bit of noise for the first ten minutes, but they seemed to have sorted themselves out- long may this last! I'll keep monitoring them for another few hours, but hopefully they'll be in as a three by this evening.

Well, it all went well- and the three boys are now living together. Thank you everyone for the good lucks! :)

There's been no squabbles this evening, so hopefully it carries on this way!
