Hi and welcome

Please wait a bit. Place a blanket or sheet over the cage and its sides to give your new arrivals a feeling of safety so they can get their bearings and explore when nobody is in the room.

Please take the time to read these tips here. They tell you how you can avoid behaving like a hunting predator and make friends with them in ways that they instinctively understand; guinea pigs are prey animals after all. Yours are feeling very much lost and are not yet sure whether they are in safe territory or not.

thankyou very much, i will take this into considoration when training and handling.

I also have 2 babies, it takes a lot of patience and time! I hand fed mine a lot to get them to trust me but we are still working on handling and we are getting a lot better. I can actually hold both of then together now, good luck!

We always start off after a few days by trying to hand feed a few veggy treats in the cage by offering some nice veggies to the new piggy when they are in their hidey, hopefully they will take it off you as you hold it in for them... after a while try offering it a little further from the hidey so they edge out and take it from you.
Food is the best way to bribe, use food when you get round to lap times also. Start lap time for a short amount of time at first and build up. We started off we laptimes for 1 minute with new piggies then pop them back, slowly increasing the time. They will soon associate you with food and good things but at first it takes a while to gain their trust.
