Maybe a stupid query but hey I'm new to this lol

i have been holding my boys round their waist whilst supporting their bottom if you know what i mean.

but how do you guys get them on your knee etc i am afraid if i am not litterally pinning them they will bolt off me and injure themselves?

xx

You support your piggies with your stronger hand under the belly/chest and your index and middle finger between their front legs while you hold up the bottom end with the other hand.

If you are not sure about possible escape capers, you can leave the first hand underneath their body. That way, you can control the piggie at all times until it has settled down. Talk to it softly and gently all the time. Make encouraging comments when t is behaving as you want it to, and say quietly, but firmly uh! uh! when it gets into mischief. It'll catch on soon!

Wish you all the best with your new charges!

When you've picked up your piggy and sat down with it hold it into your stomach and put one arm around the piggy so that it is in between you and your arm. You then have your other hand free to stroke the pig and catch it if it tries to escape.
Hop this helps.
