.....Watching Dog Soldiers on dvd with my piggies! Little Saffy wasn't too relaxed but my Ginny just stretched out on my chest with her hind legs stretched right out behind her and pushing into my neck x) She was so relaxed and comfy I could have fallen asleep! Hopefully Saffy will gradually relax and follow her mum's example.

I was feeling that love! My husband came home from work bout 10.30 and said why are you grinning? I gave him a loved up smile and said look at Ginny, cue much rolling of eyes from hubby :(|)
 
Its so amazing when you cross that line with your piggies where they go from being nervous of you, to wanting to cuddle up with you, or when they run to you if something spooks them.

Whenever Rod was at the vets, the minute the vet put him down he would run straight to me for me to pick him up.....The vet would always say that he was such a mummys boy lol!

I first realised Ginny loved me when one night she was on the sofa with hubby, I bent over to talk to him and she rushed over him to get to me and leapt up onto my chest! It felt so good, all warm and fuzzy knowing we had bonded that much. Just have to hope I can turn that corner with Saffy.

awww thats very sweet. :)

Dont worry if Saffy doesnt become as loving as Ginny...Piggies all have very different personalities, and some are really snuggly and some dont snuggle at all... its not you its just how they are.

Thanks I'll bear that in mind when I doubt myself and remember Ginny loves me so I must be doing something right :(|)
 
that was a very sweet story!

if it makes you feel any better one of my boys for the last two weeks since i got him has pretty much avoided cuddles or being picked up and is really skittish - yesterday we had a moment where he did let me have a cuddle for the first time. It just takes time and the moment i stopped worrying and trying, probably a little too much, to make him want to cuddle, he relaxed and decided it wasnt such a bad idea lol x

I'm pretty much letting her come to me now. As she seems to always follow Ginny I'm hoping she'll start to relax around me cos Ginny does. Logically I know she's the nervy one so will take longer to come round!
