Wheeky wheekday to my only birthday girl!

I can't believe that it is already two years since Taffy was the first of the big Gateshead RSPCA rescue sows to give birth to a litter of four. This was Telyn (on the left) the day she was born at Sokel Rescue in Gretna.

My baby girl is now one of biggest sows in the Tribe. Even though she has grown into a gentle friendly girl that gets on with everypig, she has not lost her flair for the occasional, always very vocal drama! Telyn is still very much switched on when there is a hint of food in the offing; usually she's not far behind Hywel!

No, these are just the babies - but two of the boys were looking very much like mummy! :))

Here is Taffy with her pups; poor girl, she was so thin then!

Ah, that's the pic I was thinking of. I new I had seen Taffy with her babies somewhere. Whoever the piggy is in the first pic looks so much like their mother :)
