I acquired Hazelnut at 11 weeks & today he is 3 years old! A friend of mine dubbed him "first-born". In his first 7 months with me as I tried to care for him while still learning how to care for a piggy, there was heaps of trial & error. With every mistake I made, my friend would say "it's all right he's your first-born" meaning many first-time mums to human bubs go through the same things. Anyhow, he managed to survive all that fumbling about by me & is today a lovely, healthy, laid-back 3 year old.

This is his birthday present, a recent item I discovered at my local hardware shop.

What is it you ask? Why, it's a vehicle for "driving" the boys about! Me being the chauffeur of course. Hazelnut is the dark boy.

Happy birthday beautiful boy! What do they do when you pull them around in that?

I use it to get them from one place to another safely, like from cage to sofa & back, cage to floor time area & back, etc. They seem to like it, Hazelnut stretches out while PB chutters, but he is vocal about every little thing. I think the knowledge that there is going to be parsley at the end of the trip, helps. It's always their post-journey treat.

Happy Birthday Hazelnut, you handsome boy x)

I love your truck!

Happy Birthday.
Bet you will be off down to Tesco in the little truck to check out the veggie section.:))

If my 10yr old granddaughter has anything to say about it, that will happen! She used to like putting the boys in the laundry basket trolley with fiddlestick bridges to provide shade then she wheeled the trolley to the local greengrocer who is only 2 blocks down the road. (I was with her of course). She was very proud to show off the piggies whenever someone asked what she had in the trolley. My teenage granddaughter accused her of looking like a homeless person wheeling the laundry trolley down the footpath! I think he "truck" will go down better.
