Another sister pair has been celebrating their fourth birthday on the 24th February: Mererid 'Pearl' (Margaret) and Morwenna 'White Seas' are passing this landmark without their their third sister Myfina 'My Lovely One', who sadly died over Christmas.
Because they are a very closely knit group with their much loved 'daddy boar' Bedo, the loss of both Myfina and their honorary fourth sister, orphaned baby Angharad (RIP April) who was only 4 months younger than the Triplets, is still very noticeable - not just for me!
The Triplets were part of the infamous country-wide Rainbow Ark rescue action; they were born at TEAS (The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary for guinea pigs with special needs) in Northampton and came here at 8 weeks of age.
