4 years ago today we made the long journey from Manchester to Devon to adopt our gorgeous girls Mavis and Peggy. I had seen a post here on the forum in April 2018 from @Tim about two piggies that had been stuck in rescue since September 2017. We fell in love with them and thanks to Erica at Little Pips agreeing to do a remote cage set-up check, we were allowed to adopt them. The girls are now 6 years old and apart from Peggy having severe arthritis, are in good health. They are now quite happy to spend there days just eating and sleeping, with a trip out to the run in the garden when the weather allows. Although, they can both still move surprisingly quickly when there is food on offer.
Here they are on arrival at their new home 4 years ago.

This photo was taken this morning, they were too interested in eating the fresh hay to pose for a photo.

Hopefully they can look forward to many more happy piggy days with us.
