Today our sweet Leela is turning 6! We honestly didn't think that she would be here for this b-day, we were told in July that she had a complex ovarian mass that was likely malignant (because it has ruptured or reabsorbed since, the vet now thinks it's most likely a more benign ovarian cyst that just had a lot of compartments of fluid in it.) At any rate, we are very happy to be celebrating her birthday and watching her live out her guinea pig golden years as a happy, affectionate, sweet piggie. She is getting a lovely birthday treat of two favorite foods, romaine lettuce and freeze-dried strawberry treats!
