Happy 7th "Gotcha Day" (Adoption Anniversary), Nerys!

Against all the odds, you are still hanging in there battling terminal illness with your usual dogged fighting spirit.

You have been there since the very beginning of the Tribe and have been a central part of its incredible, often exciting and occasionally heart-breaking journey.

With your sister Nia (RIP May 2014) shortly after your adoption from the RSPCA Walsall in 2009, aged ca. 10 months.

Nesta arrived sight unseen in December 2012 from the now sadly defunct RNGP Welfare Rescue in Rugby after they were swamped by a lot of very pregnant breeder piggies that they found dumped on their drive one Sunday morning; the small rescue needed any free space they could get so I offered to take two of their ready to adopt piggies. Nesta was one of them... Nice surprise, eh? Apart from the fact that Nesta is my Miss ASBO! ;)
 
Happy gotcha day gorgeous Nerys. I can remember the day your mummy adopted you and your sister Nia. Lots of wonderful memories throughout the years x

"Gotcha Day" (or 'got you day') is the day a pet arrives, especially if you do not know its exact birth date. It is an American expression for adoption anniversary. ;)

I adopted Nerys and her sister Nia on 4th May 2009.
