It is not often that I can celebrate a 7th Gotcha Day; but this one is even more special since nobody would have expected for those two to live to such an age, considering their truly horrendous background. It is even sweeter after Merry's wobble over Easter. She is very frail but so far her zest for life is winning out.

Mererid (my little black 'Pearl') and her sister Morwenna ('White Seas') arrived 7 years ago from @furryfriends (TEAS)' Sanctuary where they had been born to join my Bedo and his beloved two TEAS foster wives to form a lively family. Life has never been the same again...
Poor Bedo need to take a crash course in looking after his three new baby wifelets who were busy getting into all kinds of scrapes. Watching the three sisters bound after their adopted daddy or crying out for him when stuck somewhere was all too sweet!

Bonding with their new family. Morwenna was the smallest of the lot but she looks like she is going outlive her family despite her very shaky start

The Triplets in action!

Aw - happy 7th Gotcha:cake:

What is attracting them back to the spotty cube? Is there food hidden in the top?

How lovely to be celebrating 7years. I met them when they were wee babies living with mum at @furryfriends (TEAS) . With the excellent care given to their pregnant mum by Debbie and their great start in life with her, plus finding a home with you, I have to say I am not surprised they have reached this milestone!

It's the cave from another group and not their own. Nothing like trashing neighbour's belongings and having fun with a new bit of kit before it goes into the washing machine! :)
Because smelling/tasting is our weakest sense, we very much blend it out of our enrichment for guinea pigs, for who it is one of their strongest senses.

Oh wow. Happy 7th gotcha day girls! That’s an incredible milestone.

You weren't active on the forum at the time, but I went into Debbie's role in depth just a few weeks ago in their birthday thread, explaining the circumstances in which they were born. I didn't want to repeat myself so this time I am focussing on their baby days with the Tribe, as they bring back much needed happy memories for me. ;)
Happy 7th wheekday, Mererid and Morwenna!

Hope I didn't cause offence, I just wanted to praise you both for ensuring these girls got to live their very best life. Like I say with Debbies care at the start and your on going care over all these years I am not surprised they have flourished :) It is lovely to still have them and the memories of the early years to fill your heart with joy.
