So a few days late (should have been the 29 August) but a happy Gotcha Day to our handsome boy Milo.

He is such a different piggy to the scared boy who had been kept on his own for months in PAH, eating nothing but nuggets and cabbage. When he arrived he refused to eat the first evening and in fact didn't move at all (he was sat in a puddle of urine the next morning). We were lucky to receive help and advice from @VickiA and put Milo in a run next to our other piggies. He was almost immediately a different piggy, he ran to the dividers to meet our piggies and then started eating. He must have been desperately lonely.

We quickly had him neutered and as soon as he was safe took him to Coseley Guinea Pig Rescue where he chose his little wife Hazel.

A year has passed and he now weighs in at a chunky 1.3kg and is the calmest and to be honest, laziest of our piggies. He loves Hazel and is never far from her side and she is most definitely the boss. Although, he does like to have a little rumble strut to the other girls when they are out in the adjacent runs.

One of the truly best things you can do in life, is transform a piggy's life. Giving them their best life is a great feeling to have, and it sure sounds like you've done that for Milo ❤.

(although please don't limit yourself to 'one last picture'. We need lots! 😁)

Oh and happy belated gotcha day handsome boy 😍
