Today i would like to wish my beautiful bunnies a Happy First Birthday! (i know it's not guinea related but i just want everyone to know lol) I went out to then today and gave them carrots with the green leaves still on, i put birthday balloons on their cages are took the stereo outside to play Stevie Wonders Happy Birthday ha ha (I'm sad i know)

They were born on the 14th March 2006 at about 7.30am to Mum Willow.

I would like to take this opportunity to show you lots of pictures of what they have been up to this year and see how they have grown up. :smitten:

They are so cute! At first I thought they were piggies and was like "why do they have no hair?.." Then I got it! They 13 days old Barley sleeping one is adorable!

OMG Don't they grow so quickly :o And this may sound really dumb, but I never knew they were so tiny when they were born... i've never seen a baby bunny before ::) Thank you Jeanette for sharing those pics with us!

thats cool how theyre bald... you can see clearly what their markings will be like :)
 
All the bunnies say thanks for wishing them a happy birthday ;D...i have just added the pictures of them now they are 1 year old :)

Here something intersting...you see Bramble (the one with the wierd triangle on her back in pictures 1 and 2...well i noticed that on day 4 she was growing hair on the triangle marking but not anywhere else! I get hold a specialist Lion Head breeder and she told me that this happens when Lion Heads are 'double mained' So the bald bit is where the hair will grow thicker, longer and slighly wavy! I have Bramble and Clover that are double mained and the rest are single ;D Just thought you might like to know that haha

lol i did push them together as they would keep still haha

And yes they are ALL girls..i was expecting at least 1 boy, but no, a big gang of girly hooligans!
 
wow... nice job mum :) bet she regrets having all girls now that they are older ;D Theyre all so cue :smitten:

They were 1 on 14th March, sorry this was an old post i sent to Ali as she said she'd never seen baby bunnies haha

They are sooo beautiful,on Sat my daughter and I went to Cheryl's to foster some piggies and a bun called Bean as she is inundated at mo,we were so privileged to see new born buns in a gorgeous fluffy nest with their mum,I have never seen anything quite so sweet.Oh and just to say all my family are completely smitten over Bean the bunny,he comes when we call his name and is so cute,I don't know what I am going to be like when he has to go back :'( :-*
