Spent this afternoon on a training course that varied from boring to insulting and all points in between won't bore you with details, but came home from work feeling exhausted with boredom.
Lots of Wheeks greeted me, all the piggies very happy to see me (and hear the fridge door opening rolleyes )
Jeremy had an appointment at the vet to have his black nails trimmed, so packed him up, with his wife Sally in the box, and off we went. I was quite concerned about the car journey for them (5 minutes!), but that's just me. When I got there, the nurse recognised me and asked me to go through to the back. She couldn't wait to open my box, and immediately fell in love with Jeremy, hugs and cuddles all round. He was very good whilst he had his nails clipped, and she showed me how to clip black nails. She said she might as well have a look at Sally's nails too. She gave them a little clip, and then said to me that whilst I fostered and rehomed rescue piggies, she wouldn't charge me anything at all and would write on their records they didn't need doing. She also put a poster up for me for anyone enquiring about piggies.
I really do have a great vet surgery. Whilst I was out my husband cleaned out Jez and Sall's cage and started tea. :) :)
So a good ending to a rotten day! xx

That was nice of them, i once took my piggy in to have his teeth checked and they didn't charge me as i had been in a few days before with something else:))

That's fantastic Jane, where is your vets? I don't mind travelling. :))

What a lovely vet, and as you say, a splendid ending to a horrible day - even better with cages being cleaned, and the meal started.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
