My - how time flies ! It's been a year since Darling came to join my heard.
I had a trio - with room for one more so, discussed with @pig in the city that I would like to offer a forever home to an older sow .
Darling was adopted by her 1st slave as a rescue and was estimated to be about 6 months old when rescued . She lived with a neutered boar for approximately 4 years . Unfortunately, her husbpig passed away so her slave made enquiries about getting her rehomed . So... Darling was at least 4 years old when she was widowed and looking for a new partner .
We arranged a bonding day - bonding with my herd was successful . At this stage, all my 4 were together .
Unfortunately, for some reason , my Boar (Reuben) took a dislike to one of my sows (Bess) after she was spayed - so my 4 are now 2 2's.
Darling is living happily with Reuben.
Here are some pigtures taken over the past year ...

Luckily I live quite a way south from you so my piggies are more or less safe!
Will have to padlock the hutch then!
