Mr Audrey & Mr Marilyn
Junior Guinea Pig
It was a year ago yesterday that our two little piggies came to live with us, and what a wonderful year it has been, they have become completely part of our family and have us wrapped around their little claws!
I remember it so well, I'd kept guinea pigs when I was younger but I had forgotten how very shy they are in the beginning, the first night we waited anxiously for them to come out of their hideys, when we didn't see them all evening we thought we'd completely broken them with the journey home, but the relief and excitement when we saw a couple of poops had appeared in their cage in the morning!
From behaviour issues, bedding problems, food queries, mild illnesses, 'is this normal questions', thanks to the forum for taking care of us all over the last year! Here are some of our favourite pigtures from piglets to grown up boys!
As teeny babies!
Getting to know you
An exciting time for us when they started coming to the side of the cage and taking food (they are now housed only on fleece, thanks to the forum!)
My house now!
Getting exercise time, Mr Marilyn looking like an egg!
Tired out from all that exercising!
Time for a bed time story? (the amount of toys/beds/hideys we've accumulated over just one year is unreal!)
One of my favourite pictures. Ever.
