Does anyone use this and have any pictures of the most recent quality please?

Thanks :)

I don't have any pictures but we recently had a sample that looked good and went down a treat. The sample pack was great, definitely recommend if you want to have a look at their current selection in person ☺️

We did order it a couple of times a few months back and it was nice but quite tangled so I was wondering if it was less tangled at the moment.

If you mean what I think you mean, I think that's just how they parcel their hay. I store mine downstairs and take a shopping bags worth of it upstairs when needed and the first couple of bags are always painful on the hands trying to separate it lol, but it does come loose quite easily after that. It's been the same for me with the timothy, the oat and the orchard.

:agr:
It is tightly packed into a compressed bale. Once the first few handfuls are out from under the baler twine then it’s not an issue.
I keep mine in the shed so tend to just cut the twine off, pull out handfuls and shake it into the cages

I meant more the fine and tangled pieces that don’t come apart when you loosen it. There was quite a lot of them within the usable hay. Not sure how to describe it very well!

Did they refuse to it then?
I do use meadow hay as well as happy hay orchard but I buy the meadow by the bale from a local farm - the thinner pieces are a favourite for my lot, it’s the equivalent of finding seeds heads in the Timothy!

We didn’t put them in the cage because Perry is a senior with arthritis (although mild - knee and spine) so we didn’t want to risk him getting caught in it.
