Yesterday my girls were on the lawn for a bit (in the run) and Pebbles the kitten came round for a visit. Pebbles lept out of the bushes and pounced at the piggies who paid her no attention. Lexi came up and they touched noses through the wire then Pebbles bounced off and ran at Charlotte who ran at her and Pebbles was very confused and ran away again. Pebbles kept looking at them and expecting them to run away so when they ran towards her she got scared of them rolleyes I think Charlotte and Lexi were being protective of Kizzy who was totally oblivious to the whole thing and just kept munching. My other three chase cats too but I don't think Charlotte could have picked it up from them. Does anyone else have cat chasing pigs?
Our cats are very curious of the pigs but they can't understand why they don't run away. They used to get very confused by these odd little creatures that don't bother about them but they are fairly used to them now. Pebbles is a kitten that has just started visiting and it was so funny to see her totally bemused by the pigs.
hahaha. my cat is a really wuss. she has accepted the guinea pigs as part of her territory and wouldn't harm them at all. but she is FREAKED about our rabbit. he chases her around and she runs off looking so frightened! He's a free-range minilop (don't worry he is completely safe) and he chases her off all the time. she is also afraid of my four year old cousin and you won't see her all day after he's come over. she really is a funny, sad little cat with a lot of fears. but she does love people and is very affectionate also.
