Hi all! Happy new year! We don't know what that means but Dad tells us it's a celebratory thing and that's the reason for all the loud banging noises and flashing lights. Seems a bit silly if you ask us. Dad thought we'd be nervous or afraid so he came in to check, and seemed very confused that we stared at him from our nice, warm beds with no roofs as close to the window (and the radiator) as possible.
He thinks we're eejits. Whatever that is, we think he's one too.

Here's hoping it's not too scary for other goblins out there tonight.

We are glad you had a normal night.
Mummy Slave spoiled our boys night in. Then both Slaves hung about till way after lightsout, watching the TV and doing a load of washing in the middle of the night. Slaves were definitely acting strange yesterday.

Happy New Year!
Lots of very noisy bangs here last night right over head for hours. We weren't too bothered but spent a lot of time in our hides just in case. Brillo was really brave and spent the evening lying in the open in the middle of his cage. The slave thinks he's deaf now after his infection, we think he's just daft.

Happy New year. We (Chip and Bumble) never heard a single thing last night, we enjoyed the music on our very own Alexa. Bumble is being an annoying teenager now and not giving me a minutes peace🙄, i teeth chattered at him this morning and even puffed air! But the crazy piggie just rumbled more and popcorned 🙈. Mum says I'm being such a good boy putting up with his shenanigans but shes keeping an eye on us. Little does she know its a scam to get more food 😂😂. She gave us our remaining forage Christmas tree and a big pile of the special tasty forage hay "to distract us! “😉😜
 
We didn’t have any banging or flashing lights around here, but we don’t care anyway.
Our slave said it was because it was raining very hard last night.
She did give us some yummy new forage though.

Dear fellow Goblins,

We are happy for all of you, that whatever shenanigans these humans are up to didn't cause you any massive problems. Even better when you can get more food out of it, because who doesn't like more food?
(apparently, humans. Humans are weird.)
Dad's complaining that it cost him less money to pay for a return trip to London than it did to buy us hay. It better be good hay or we won't eat it.

Speaking of. We want more hay. Time to make some noise!

Hello Goblins. Our human has told us to stop reading your posts and not get any ideas. She has pointed out that we enjoy the hay we get, as evidenced by the amount we stuff in our faces, so not to expect any extra posh boxed hay any time soon! Smameful.
Do you have any tips on how to train a human?
 
Loudly persistent. Yell as much as your lungs can muster, for as long as you want. We promise the human's resilience is no match for yours. Dad has a badge that sums it up nicely: "Wheek first. Wheek loud. No mercy."
 
Hello Gobins, Happy New Year!
We all slept soundly in our cosy open topped cuddle cups too last night, there was a couple of bangs, at first Posh thought it must be Bonfire night but then it all quiet again so we drifted off in no time!

A very Happy New Year to you both. There was a lot of noise here last night but it didn't really bother us as were too busy eating hay.

We got extra veggies today as our hoomans have visitors. So there was broccoli and carrots (we aren't usually allowed carrot).
