so when i do the food shopping - i try to use Lidl but always end up going to Morrisons for bits i can't find there...

Happy today to see the herb section now sells Dill for the piggies - and its so much cheaper than Morrisons !

I haven't tried my piggies with Dill but I may now if I can get some cheapish.

Mine like parsley, but practically made gagging noises and rolled over dead when I suggested they might like to try coriander
I will see if I can tempt their over indulged piggy selves with dill.

Poor coriander to provoke that response. I nearly lose fingers when offering coriander to my girls. They circle like sharks with their teeth going like the clackers trying to get a faceful :lol!:

Mine would do almost anything for coriander. Or celery leaf. I too get a full dose of the stink eye if I have the cheek to give them courgette though... I shall try them on the dill, we are having a Lidl week next week.

We get big bunches of parsley, dill and coriander for 99p each in a shop near the high street which sells foods from different countries.
We go there a lot so it's the best place to get them :)

If someone has a lot of piggies/rabbits it might be worth looking for a place like that, it really is worth it, especially if you use the herbs in cooking too.

I took a quick picture of the parsley we got there. You can see some dying dill in the back too and I just used the last of the coriander in my burritos and my piggies & rabbits' dinner. :D
