Happy to mean

My guinea pig Apatche will be happy for weeks and then he will get where he will be mean and bite.He will do that for a week or so.And then he is nice again.
Is there a reason or do i just have a crazy guinea pig lol.
 
I don't know much about this sort of thing but if it was a girl i would say she was coming in and out of season, i'm not sure if boars go through this or not...i'm sure someone will be along soon who will be able to help!
 
is it a new behaviour or something he has done all along? I'm not expert so wouldnt like to say for sure. How is he health wise?
