Hi all need some advice again.
I was spot cleaning this morning and noticed that some of the piggy poop was hard.
What is causing this? And should I be worried? I'm panicking I've done something wrong!

Thanks in advance

Hi!

They wil go hard within a couple hours of being passed.. This is normal.

If they are hard and dry when actually being passed, check your water bottles incase said piggy isnt able to get enough water- lack of fluids can make the stools very dry.

Thanks for reply!
Yes it was hard and dry inside was difficult to squish it I shall check water bottles and will be getting them out for a cuddle later so will check and see if I find any more hard poos and which one of them is doing it.

Are they young? Iv found as babies, their poos are obviously small but can be quite hard and dry.. Compared to the adults.

Hopefully its just been a matter off they've been sitting for an hour or 2 :-)

Yes 9-10 weeks old I've only had them since Friday, I spot clean everyday but this was the first time some of the poops have been hard. I'm like a panicky first time mum at the minute! I was never like this with my human baby's lol!
