I have noticed recently Harleys chin is wet after he eats his greens.

He hasn't lost any weight, if anything he has put on a bit. He is eating, drinking fine and still his normal self.

I dried off his chin tonight with a tissue and it was red/orange and smelt like peppers. (wich was part of his meal tonight)

Hubby says just keep an eye on him, weigh him daily etc or should i get him to vets asap as i know it could be dental issues or could he just be a messy eater.

Also dose anybody know of a cavy savy vet near Kings Lynn, norfolk?

Hi love yes good idea to know their weights, weighing weekly is good to do regularly :) then if you're unsure of what's up, i also do daily!
If your instincts are nagging you, keep an eye on him........:)

Am hoping somebody who's from Norfolk your area can advise 8:)

Hoping all is ok for little Harley, whee'll keep our paws crossed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sounds like he's a bit messy, I know one of mine gets an orange mouth whenever she has carrots ;)
Keep an eye on him, but as it smelt like peppers, and thier very juicey I dont think its anything to worry about :)

Thanks all! As i say he hasn't lost weight, if anything he's put it on mallethead. Will keep an eye on him and weight him a little bit more than i do now. It's usually once a week but will try to do it a few more time during the week.

Thanks Glynis yeah it's not too far from me.

Will do, i'm sure he's just being a boy and likes being messy when eating rolleyes

If only they knew the stress and worry they put us through sometimes, but i wouldn't change them for the world x)
