Harleys eye?

I have booked him into the vets for tomorrow but just wanted some advise from you guys.

On Harleys eye I have noticed somthing stuck to his eye ball. It is dark and looks like what can only be described as a small bit of rotten lettuce. I noticed it a couple of days ago and thought he would just blink it out if it was. But he hasn't, I have tried wipeing his eye with warm water on a cotton ball but that still hasn't moved it. It not getting any worse.

Any ideas what it could be? Tried to get a photo but they are not very good. :{

You could try cleaning his eye with something like tears natural - its a people eye drop but completely safe for piggies!just put it on cotton wool and wipe it

I don't know what it could be - but I would imagine of it was food stuck it would get infected!

Thanks teddy2011. I have tried cleaning it but with no luck. It has bee done a few times. Hopefully the vet will have a look and sort him out. x

It sounds like an ulcer, take him to the vet to get some medicated eye drops. It will likely have been caused by a hay poke injury.
