Harold Having His Nails Clipped 1st Time

This morning was nail clipping duties and Bruno had his done first then it was Harold's turn. I've never clipped his so was not sure how he would do but with help from the other half and parsley it was a success! Also a good photo opportunity :love:

What a handsome piggy Harold is. Well done for clipping his nails all at once, I've given up now and do a couple at a time as my boars get so wriggly and bad tempered when I try to do it!
 
Its a dreaded job in our house, I wasn't sure how Harold would be as he's very nervous of us but he went along with it very well.
 
Harold is lovely, I’ve tried to cut my 6 month old boar Fudge’s nails, I got one foot done then...he bit me! I’ll have to try again, and his brother Ozzy too. Going to buy garden gloves tomorrow
 
Normally Christian is the nightmare for nails but this time it was Meg. We had to wrap her up in a towel with a paw poking out while I clipped the nails, unwrap poke out another paw and wrap back up again. Dennis let me do his fairly easily, Betsy and Velvet were dead easy. Never been like this before bet it won't be again!

That sounds like a good idea, thanks Betsy I’ll try that see if I can get them cut
 
The "sausage" method was the only way we could clip Christian's nails for ages. We had to cover his head up too to prevent being bitten. Christian is usually a very gentle cheeky chappie who just goes with the flow. Here he is just for you! He is called Christian as he is several shade of grey! As soon as he was born I said if he was a boy I would call him that!

I find having someone to hold them and a good piece of something tasty to distract them and I can just get through all the feet. Bruno is alot harder as his are black and I once made him bleed I felt so bad, so I have to not go too short with him. Harolds are see through :tu:
 
She has a gold patch the other side too exactly the same colour bad the gold patched on Dennis. Well she is his sister too. Can't post pictures atm as I on my phone not my laptop.

Handsome little fella : ) Wish my two would sit on my knee, they don’t like being picked up at all, but will let me stroke and tickle under their chin and little floppy ears. But they’re only 6 months...I’m being patient.
