does anyone feed these to their guinepigs, do they like them, and are they as good as burgess excell nuggets? just curious to everyones opinions on this. Having 8 piggys now, i was looking at ways to make the food bill cheaper without the quality going cheaper :)

Harrington's are OK; I am feeding them in combination with Burgess. They used to be Wagg Optimum, so you can look up any reviews under that name.

These are the only type mine will eat and the love them! Cheapest place the buy I find is in countrywide stores!

i have just bought these for the first time, they arrived today! so have not fed them yet. my piggies mainly have a hay and veg diet but in the winter they have nuggets once a week too and other members on previous threads have said these are good so i thought i would give them a go.

My girls are on harringtons, I tried them on Berties burgess and they turned their noses up! Think Bertie might have to go on harringtons I cant be doing with buying different sorts!

All 18 of our piggies love the Harringtons (formerly Wagg Optimum)
Have tried virtually every branded pellet over two and a half years (Burgess, Science Supreme etc.) and can say these are the ones they favour :) Empty bowls morning and night :)

My only worry with harringtons is that its made by wagg who also make dog food, where they can potentially get mixed up. Sounds stupid but excel do it regularly as they make dog food too. I'm now on science supreme because of that.

Mine love them, but having said that I've yet to see them turn their noses up at any pellet. They've had Science Selective, Pets at Home, Burgess original, Harringtons, JR Farm... All taste test winners. The Harringtons I can pick up in the supermarket in a pinch though, and are lovely tiny pellets. I think they have a tiny bit of apple and grape in them, so obviously they're delicious.

Mine love them and leave others that I put in (Burgess). I get them on a subscription on Amazon, a big sack lasts 2 months for 5 pigs

Mine love Harrington's optimum. Keep your eye out in Asda as occasionally they do really good offers on it. A while ago they had 2kg packs for £1 each... total bargain for quality food. X
