Hey all,

I feed my guinea pigs harringtons pellets, I have a subscribe & save on amazon for that.

I've noticed in the last order the pellets look smaller than usual, I bought a smaller bag and it looks the same. My guinea pigs (all 15 of them..) haven't really eaten them in a few days despite me putting it out. They're all eating the timothy hay right now (afalfa {for the recovering sows that gave birth recently & young}) and a plethora of fruits/vege/grasses/leaves etc, so i'm not worried.

Has anyone noticed the pellet size change? Or has experience with guineas suddenly losing interest?

Sometimes it happens with brands.

Harringtons have changed sizes several times over the years we've been feeding them. Maybe worth switching to another brand.... I would think the lack of interest in them is purely down to that nothing else as it is a) affecting many pigs and b) they are eating hay fine.

They're loving the hay I have, as I have a mixed group of sows (ranging 6 weeks to 6 years) I mix timothy & alfalfa hay together & I use a burgess treat here & there to add in: Excel Snacks Country Garden Herbs : Rabbit feeding hay, treats & litter | Burgess Pet Care

I'll stop using Harringtons for a while to try spark interest in it again
