I've been trying to think up some new and inexpensive ways to liven up Harry and Lloyd's cage for a wee while now, as I don't want the lads to get bored.

A lady I know who runs a local rabbit rescue uses a lot of wooden kids toys in her runs to keep her residents stimulated and decided to try something similar myself.

I came across a kid's trolley with wooden blocks in a charity shop for 50p, and asked my sister to attach some fabric to it to make a roof.

This is the result and - most importantly - Harry and Lloyd seem to love it. Like most things, they're not quite sure whether to sit on it or eat it...

That is beautiful! The boys seem happy with it. I do similar, Am forever in the baby section or teeny tots toys & have found quite a few things.
 
They love it!Can I ask what the grassy looking thing in the bowl is?Its just I'm looking for different foods for mine.
 
It's a couple of pinches of Readigrass, plonked on top of their pellets, as a reward for being so good during cage cleaning time. Not a regular thing, just as a treat now and then :)
