Harry and the big C..

Been thinking a lot about Harry recently and am thinking maybe he would like to be in with a girlie friend instead of on his own...he s a very very dominant piggy and I worry that he will never be able to be bonded with another boy, even one of hius own sons...but I am also worried he will be a sex pest to any girls that are unfortunate enough to live with him ;D

Has anyone has a big bully pig that has been successfully paired with another boar or somw sows? I just dont want his girlfriend/s to have to constantly try and escape his dirty cluches...the OH does not want harry to be fixed, but if it will make him happier then of course we will get him done. I just dont know if its worth it...then again if it doesnt work outhe can just go back in by himself I guess? :-\

But saying that...the last couple of days since moving to a cage for 3/4 piggies by himself he hasnt stopped popcorning which he hasnt done in a while :D...does this mean he likes the cage or being alone? I wish they could talk! :-\ 98) :-\ ;D
 
He will still try his luck just will not be able to reproduce ;) I am sure he would be happier with sows rather than boars give hime those girlies he will be a changed piggie(happier) better than him living alone and frustrated by the smell of women he is a man that knows what he wants ;D
 
he is living upstairs in a room with just boars at the moment....but i think we will get him neutered anyway....like i say if it doesnt work with another girl, he can just go in by himself again i guess! :-\ O0
 
You could put him back in with his old girlfriends once his children are born. He would be fine with them and them with him ;) If you get him done soon by the time those babies leave mum he could be nice and ready for them all to be reunited :smitten: Aww give him his girlies back once they have recovered :)
 
Personally I think that getting him neutered is the best option. I don't think you would be able to bond him with another boar because of his temperament and I think you would have to have him neutered even to have a hope in bonding him with another boar. If he is as bad as you say he may terrorise the sow(s) he is put with, therefore you are going have to pick very careful, which one(s) you put him with. I am sure once he is neutered and his hormones have settled down he would be able to live happily with a sow or two. Hope this has helped and made sense. :)
 
I am just trying to work out if a more bossy dominant sow would be best, or a quieter one? I think i'll just have to get him done and then try him in a run with a few girls and see how he goes...

My worry has always been that he is a very big sex pest and girls have nipped him before (when we thought he was a she) and I dont want pair him with a girl if hes going to make her unhappy... :-\

Wouldnt change him for the world but just wish his was a bit less...'me big man, you slave piggy' ::) ;D
 
;D LMAO, well after the operation his hormones should settle down considerably. I would then pair him with a sow who won't mind being pushed around, but will put him in his place when he gets out of line. :)
