harry is off to the vets tonight ready for neutering in the morning. i have complete faith in my vets so i am not too concerned about him - obviously things can and do go wrong but i have no reason to doubt the vets. i have already had 2 neutered, one caesarian and of course blossom had a prolapse back in march. everyone came through without any problems at all. after his 6 weeks he will be moving in with angel (the sow that had the caesarian) fingers crossed this will be the same. at the same time i will be dropping off two cats to be speyed too. it will be like a hospital in my house tomorrow:))http://

Hope all goes well x x

Fingers firmly crossed for Harry!

ps good luck to the kitties too, rather you than me on nurse duties!

should be a fun week ahead:)) the one cat, tabitha, is the one that had kittens after being dumped. wonder what her 5 x 7 week old kittens will make of mom when she gets home - i hope tabitha will be ok with them running and jumping on her:(

well harry, tabitha and mittens are at the vets awaiting tomorrows ops. when i left harry was completely hidden in his hay, mittens was completely freaking out (terrified) and tabitha, well i think she thinks i have dumped her like her previous owners did:( i can't wait to see all of them again tomorrow hopefully fit and well. it's going to be a long night and and a longer day tomorrow waiting to hear that they are all ok

Good luck Harry! My little Georgie had the snip today :/ So far so good :) x

Good luck Harry! just out of interest, which vet do you use?

Tracey x

i use straitons in penkridge. i come from cannock originally and they have been the family vets for about 35 years. they know what they are doing with guinea pigs too:)

harry, tabitha and mittens are all home now. everyone seems just fine. harry is eating and drinking and is really bright so i'm really pleased with him. it has been a long day today but thankfully everything turned out well - counting down the 6 weeks now until harry can move in with angel:)

Hey, I use straitons, but it's the rugeley branch although I have used penkridge when it's been a bit of a rush.
