Harvey meets a Seagull

Haha! Harvey had me in stitches today, it was one of the most comical things i have ever seen my boy do, it was like a movie sketch! Wish I got my camera ready!

I opened up the shed door, so Harvey and Artie could have a stretch outside on the patio. Well today there was quite a few seagulls about, and I didn’t think anything of it as it was such a lovely day.

A seagull suddenly landed on the fence and Harvey stretched his little neck so he could have a good old nose at the bird and this played out:

Seagull: Caaaahh Caaaahhh

Harvey: * sniffs air *

Seagull: Caaaaa Caaaaaa

Harvey: * blinks sniffs air *

Seagull: Caaaaaa Caaaaaaa

Harvey: “.....WHEEEK WHEEEK WHEEEK.â€

(seagull blinks for a second, tilts head. Harvey looks pleased with himself)

Seagulls from above: Caaaaa Caaaaaa Caaaaa Caaahh

( Harvey at which point dives towards shed and underneath hutch) Seagulls are so loud when they’re in a huge flock! :)) :(|)

Poor baby he got a good cuddle from his mummy afterwards silly seagull! (oh and he did brave the patio once the seagull flew off)
 
soundsso sweet i forever have one of my cameras on me they all have video capability but i always forget to use it and always realise how great it would hae been if i had videod something
 
Ha ha, I love the Wheeks, you never know the seagull may have had some Parsley or Spinach on him!
 
It sounds so cute! I can just imagine Harvey holding forth against a seagull!

Be careful - seagulls are opportunists.
 
Hahahaha i think he was secretly hoping that the seagull had some veggies on him :))
 
Hehe that sounds so adorable. I can just imagine Harvey sitting there, wheeking at the seagull. Bless him.
 
Haha! I think he thinks every animal in the garden is his friend... we have this really friendly pigeon that eats at our bird table and Harvey was following him round the garden the other week! :))
