Gorgous Guineas 'Bugs Be Gone' £5.99 100gms?

My new piggy has recently been diagnosed with mites and although he has perked up after his first injection I am really worried he'll contract it again. I use hay as their bedding and I have read that they could be found in hay. i really don't want to change to a different bedding as they love to run through and burrow in their hay.

if it worked i would love it, mine have mites right now and it is bad, even after treatment bald patches are forming over their eyes and they are getting bad sores that are bleeding. let us know if you get it and if its anygood

I have some and have been using it as a preventative/freshen up on my lot for a few months now.

I don't know how effective it would be at treating a bad problem where there are open sores etc but I have been very impressed with it - even if I always make a right mess when I put it on them!

I would contact Chrissie direct and see what she recommends - especially in the case of the piggies with sores.

Not used bugs be gone but have used the lice&easy one and it worked a treat.

I use russell rabbit hay, and thats the only thing i can point to that may have given mine mange. I chucked out that bag, and started using their straw.
I wanted to leave it long enough so that what i go back to the hay again hopefully the bags affected should all have gone. I'm def gona keep using it though. You can get bugs from anywhere so there's always a risk.

I use it! I main reason I got it was for the rabbit as it helps wth fly strike but I use it on the piggys too :)

I'm anxious about flystrike - sounds awful. What do you do - is this bugs be gone something you apply to the piggie? Is the Spot on product I've seen on the shelves a no-no due to harmful chemicals?

I've never used any of the spot on products so couldn't comment. I use the bugs be gone on my piggys and my rabbit - the reason I bought it in the first place was after I read the reviews from a rescue on how it helped prevent flystrike, particularly in rabbits who seem to be susceptible even though it can effect piggys too. The bugs be gone is like a powder - you literally sprinkle some down the piggys back and then massage it in a little.

Any reason you can't? I know Chrissie ships internationally.
