has any piggies been given metronidazole?

when I took toffee to the vets this week she thinks he has a n infection in his gut, she gave him metronidazole, has anyone used this and did they find it put the piggy off their food abit?
 
I don’t think it’s commonly used, compared to others but i have heard of it being used, many pigs do go off there food when on medication, especially if the medication is being used in any effect with the gut, were you prescribed a pro biotic with it ?
 
No he wasn't, ive got some avipro do you think I should give him abit of that on a grape( as that's the only way he will have it)

So love my little boy and don't want to loose him.
