has any1 had a gunniepig for longer than 5 years

Yes, my last lot of piggies died over 5yrs of age. Mousey was lovely and she was just 1 month over the age of 5 when i had to get her put to sleep, then at 5 yrs 7 months Squeek went peacefully during a cuddle. 1 of squeeks kids, boots, lived to 5yrs 10 months and the "runt" of the little, Pip died on her 6th birthday.

I am hopefull the ones i have now make it that long but you just never know. xx
 
I had one which was almost 8 when she died
 
I have had my oldest guinea for 7 years, she was between 8 and 12 months old when i got her and she s gorgeous :smitten: :smitten:
 
I looked after a friends who was eight recently, unfortunately she died while I was looking after her but 8 is a grand old age to live to
 
I wonder whose is the oldest pig on the forum, currently?

My previous pigs have lived to about 6 but not much more...

Current pigs are all young'uns!

My eldest piggy was T-bone he passed away in his sleep aged 10years 4months old.
