Has anyone got this piggy house?

Spike needs a new house as his current one is a bit of a squeeze with his ever growing backside. The only criteria for his new house is that it obviously needs to be bigger than his current one, flat roofed (he loves to jump and climb and spends a lot of time sitting on his house) and preferably natural wood to match J and Smudge's cabins (that's me being picky!). There are loads of pitched roof hideys available, but only a small number of decent flat roofed ones.

I've found this one on Zooplus which looks ideal and definitely bigger than his current house, but the reviews seem to say its too small for guinea pigs. Have any of you guys got this corner cabin and if you have would you recommend it for medium-sized piggies?

I haven't got this one but i've always been reccomended to get rabbit sized things for piggies, or at least small rabbit sized as most guinea pigs are only suited to babies :/

**also have you thought about using a small kids stool, a nice cheap alternative which piggies can run in and out of and around my piggies love theres !
 
yes I have it - it's in the garage as it is defo too small for piggies. I use a table type thing instead of a hide, as it allows exits from all sides, and I put it in the corner so that it acts just like this. Flat topped and some have a step thing so piggies can get on it.
 
I like this one, and so do the piggies.

Or you could cut a piece of 6mm plywood to fit one end of the cage.

Yes - the top one of Suzy's is what I have - they also fit together to make a shelf at one end of the cage and my pigs enjoy jumping on and off and running round a circuit on two levels. Highly recommend!
 
As already said some of the childrens plastic stools are super. Bertie has a blue one for indoors and a tatty white one for his run outside. They can actually sit on them as well.
