like spillers readigrass (I know they're changing or something, it's not being got rid of is it?) or dodson and horrell just grass

I was going to try dodson and horrell just grass as I'm getting to the end of my readigrass, only to find it's hard to get now?!

So maybe I'll get graze on next time by northern crop thingy who do megazorb?

I have been advised that there wont be anymore until the new crop is ready

I have just bought a bag of readigrass which is now from Friendship Estates rather than Spillers (although I think friendship estates have always supplied it to Spillers). I am not happy with the grass as it is a completely different colour to what I usually have and it doesn't smell as nice. The guineas are eating it but they route around in it to find nice bits and leave alot. I have never had this problem before.

Maybe this is why the grass isn't so nice if it is old crop. Hopefully it will soon go back to that lovely green wonderfully smelling good enough to eat grass. Honestly sometimes I could dive in and munch on it myself!

It was the bad weather last year that has made it in short supply

Mine have something that smells really nice :smitten: I'm not having trouble getting mine ?

I was told not so long ago that they wont be able to get any dried grass until October time after the harvest so buy it in bulk were you can.
I bought a bail of Graze-on, same as readigrass but small cut pieces and it was only £8 too!

quality of it has been terrible lately, ranging from very dark to almost smelling fermented! :(

Yep ive got Graze on - smells gorg and piggies love it :smitten: i buy huge bales of everything - well i need to ;D ;D

no readi grass here for at least 3 weeks, at least they can go out all day in the runs though. O0

I was told by my stockist of readigrass that Spillers had been taken over by another company and only wanted to sell the products they produced. So Friendship Estates (who produce Readigrass) has to sell it themselves. My stockist said their minimum order was 3 pallets which is an enormous amount for anyone to buy. But it does seem readily available again.

I got a bale of Spillers Readigrass last Saturday, the farm shop i get it from was waiting for the "new cut" in June. :)

I got some dodson and horrell just grass which is shorter, softer chopped bits than readigrass, and the pigs love it
